Tamar Sheffey, Head Counselor for the Camp 613 girls division, has many years of experience mentoring and guiding children and young teens. Tamar’s responsibilities at Camp 613 for Girls include the hiring and supervision of staff and counselors as well as the implementation of the exceptional Camp 613 programming.

As Head Counselor for the Camp 613 Girls Division, Tova’s responsibilities include hiring and supervising the staff and counselors, as well as the management and organization of the exciting Camp 613 activities. Currently, Tova serves as the 2nd grade girls’ secular studies teacher at the Rosenbaum Yeshiva of North Jersey. Previously, she has held the position as teacher for 2nd grade boys and 3rd grade girls. In addition, Tova teaches computer classes for Kindergarten students.

Dr. Daniel Herrmann is currently Director of Psychological Services at the Hillel Yeshiva. Dr. Herrmann earned his smicha and PsyD in Clinical Psychology from from Yeshiva University. He has worked in Jewish education and programming for the past 20 years. Dr. Herrmann's duties, as the head counselor for the Boy's division of Camp 613, include program design, staffing and camper supervision.

Tzvi Yaakov Miretzky (a.k.a. Taco) is currently learning in the RIETS Semicha program at Yeshiva University. He has spent his whole life dedicated to camp as a camper, staff member and head staff member and is super excited to join the Camp 613 staff as co-head counselor for the boys division .

Rifka Miretzky (Morah Rifka) has a BA in Judaic Studies and working toward her degree as a PA. She has spent whole life working with children. From babysitting at a young age to being a counselor once she got older, and finally to being a youth director and teacher's assistant in her adulthood. As a new staff member, I am so excited to be a part of the Camp 613 team as the new preschool director and girls Zumba instructor!

Rabbi Hyman, Limudei Kodesh Director, brings many years of Jewish educational experience to Camp 613. He is responsible for the planning and teaching of the daily learning program for both the boys and girls divisions.

Rebbecca Halper, Camp Nurse and Head Lifeguard (Girls), has a decade of pediatric nurse experience in hospitals and private duty. She is a certified lifeguard training instructor and is also the founder of the hip n' healthy program at Camp 613.

Lisa Gold, artistic director has been with Camp 613 since its inaugural summer. Lisa is thrilled to be back, teaching, directing, hiring and overseeing camp 613 specialty staff this summer. Lisa has performed in numerous musical theater, dance and stage production throughout the east coast. She has also choreographed, directed and produced a variety of productions over the past 20 years.
